The City’s Planning Department will be holding a virtual workshop regarding the newly proposed ordinance to create Short Term Rental Overlay districts that will allow “by right” operation of STRs for all homes located in an overlay.  Shore Drive East (Cape Story by the Sea Neighborhood) is one of the proposed overlays.  For more information and to register for the workshop, see links below.  SDCC has also asked for an additional workshop to be scheduled since the mailer identifying the December workshop didn’t arrive in time to support that event.
