As part of her Master?s degree in fine arts from Old Dominion University and Norfolk State University, she built a crescent-shaped oyster reef in the Lynnhaven River in Virginia Beach.

Brett D. Noren, age 19 of the 3100 block of Sand Pine Road was found early Friday morning on the beach near Croix Drive.

Re: Lynnhaven Friendly Landscaping Workshop
On Saturday, November 4th, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM at Windsor Woods Elementary School, Lynnhaven River 2007 will offer a community workshop on Lynnhaven Friendly Landscaping. The workshop is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
The 7th Annual Sertoma By the Bay Charity Golf Tournament will be held October 26, 2006 at Broad Bay Country Club Virginia Beach, VA.
The Tournament benefits the Children’s Performance Workshops Inc., StopAbuse.com and other local charities.
There will be prizes for 1st and 2nd Place Teams, Closest to Pin, Longest Drive, Hole-In-One, and a 50/50 Raffle.
Both board hearings are deferred from their October meeting dates.
Earliest it might be heard is:
Wetlands Board, Monday November 20th.
Chesapeake Bay Area Preservation Board, Monday November 27th.
