City of Virginia Beach to Hold Public Meeting About Flood Risks and Resiliency at Central Library – Sat. March 24th

The City of Virginia Beach, Public Works Engineering, and the Old Dominion University Resilience Collaborative will be sponsoring a film and interactive community event concerning flooding and ways to respond at the Virginia Beach Central Library on Saturday, March 24, 2018, starting at 1:30 p.m. At 2 pm, there will be a presentation of the film, “Tidewater: Water is Rising, Land is Sinking, and the Military is Here to Stay,” which was produced by Roger Sorkin and the American Resilience Project.
