  1. My guess is that the owners of Chick’s Oyster Bar would like to have it designated public parking in order to apply the number to the parking spaces available in future expansion. I’m not saying that’s wrong; just sayin’.

  2. During the daylight hours in reality there is no need for non-slip holders to be needing the parking spaces. Typically that large and normally unused parking area lies empty aside from a couple police vehicles. Designate a few spots as (based on real usage) and allow the rest. I don’t think there will be any issues.

  3. The marina parking spots should be for those who have paid their rental fees for the marina. If the parking lot is opened for those who have not rented a slip, where will those who have paid park? What is the city really trying to do with this maneuver?
