Today, the death sign located on the west side of the Northampton Blvd. overpass came down about 1:30pm.
No word yet on what will replace it. It was recommended in the SDSTF Report that it should be a sign more reflecting the fact that Shore Drive is a multi-modal road, shared by vehicles, cyclists, & pedestrians.

Dear Shore Drive Residents,
On Tuesday June 13th at 6:00pm in the City Council Chambers, the City Council will review the following request for rezoning and multifamily dwelling project along Shore Drive. This proposed development may seem like your typical run of the mill high density development along Shore Drive, but it’s not.
“I think the council is committed to getting the improvements done,” said Vice Mayor Louis Jones.

Now it’s up to you to contact City Council to encourage them to completely Fund the recommendations now!
