Join us Saturday morning November 18th to help pick up litter and hang out with some very cool people from 9am to about noon.

First 20 or so volunteers receive Starbucks gift certificates.
We provide the fancy orange vests, bags and those fancy pointy sticks.
We suggest supplying your own gloves.

Meet at Starbucks before 9am to meet everyone and get instructions.
As you can imagine, you’ll be meeting the coolest of the coolest of Shore Drive people.

Indigo Dunes Ches Bay Hearing for Monday October 23rd is officially deferred

Indigo Dunes has asked for a 90 day deferral for their Chesapeake Bay Preservation Board Hearing.

The new requested hearing date is January 22, 2007.

Pam Ponce Creatively Merges Oyster Restoration & Fine Art

As part of her Master?s degree in fine arts from Old Dominion University and Norfolk State University, she built a crescent-shaped oyster reef in the Lynnhaven River in Virginia Beach.

Tragic drowning in Bay early Friday morning

Brett D. Noren, age 19 of the 3100 block of Sand Pine Road was found early Friday morning on the beach near Croix Drive.

Our hearts go out to Mr. Noren’s family.

A house on the Bayside of Calvert St. was broken into on Monday Sep 25, sometime before 2:00 p.m.

They apparently entered through a basement door as the lock was broken.  A bass guitar and some jewelry was taken.  The police were notified.  If anyone saw anything regarding this break in, please call the police at 385-5000.
