Minutes:
President Todd Solomon called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.  Sixteen members were present.

This month’s meeting will begin with a special program.  The presentation topic will be ” The Lynnhaven River 2007 Project”. 

Despite the extra $45 million the increased assessments are expected to generate, Spore said Friday the city can?t afford to reduce the current property-tax rate.

Erik Molleen of First Landing State Park has released the Draft Report on Inventory of Live Oaks along Shore Drive.

The ceremonial designation was approved unanimously by the City Council.”

Mary Reid Barrow of the Virginian-Pilot recently wrote a couple articles about Oysters and why it’s critical to reduce pet poop.

As property assessments soar to historic levels, the City Council talk is turning toward a tax-rate reduction to counter the trend. Please read on to view petition.

This month’s meeting will be considered a working meeting.  The plan is to focus on the goals discussed at January’s meeting and to narrow them down to the top priorities.  We will then determine a course of action, team and chairperson for each of these top priorities.  Here is the list created at the January meeting.  Additoinal goals will be entertained prior to the priority setting and course of action work.
