Tuesday evening, SDCC held the second in a series of Bayfront Vision meetings.
Representatives from Cape Story by the Sea, Ocean Park, Chicks Beach, Baylake Pines, The Landings, Lynnhaven Dunes, Cape Henry Shores, 3556 and Lesner Point East were in attendance.
Tucked in the $286 billion transportation spending bill passed by Congress last week is a surprising line item: $10.8 million toward construction of a new local interchange along Interstate 64.
No road exists to connect with the proposed interchange, but if planners working for the Christian Broadcasting Network have their way, there will be one.
