Do you have a Food Lion MVP card?  If so, you can help support Lynnhaven River 2007 without spending a penny.  Through Food Lion?s Shop and Share Program, a portion of your total grocery bill can be donated to Lynnhaven River 2007 through quarterly checks, once you register your MVP card in the Shop & Share program.  Remember, this will not add a single cent to your grocery bill. Truck being pulled over for allegedly speeding on Shore Drive crashes

According to WAVY.com:

The truck did pull over, but then took off. The truck passed over the Lesner Bridge going east. The officer noticed items being thrown out of the truck.

Senator Allen at Resort & Conference Center - open to public comment

Senator George Allen (our Senator to US Congress) will be the speaker for Saturday Breakfast (Feb 25th) at Virginia Beach Resort & Conference Center at 2800 Shore Drive. 

Open to the public and there will be questions taken from the audience.

Accident & burned out car in front of Jimmy’s

Ironically, on the day the Shore Drive Safety Task Force took it’s Field Trip, there was a multi-vehicle accident in the westbound lanes, at the light at the west end of the Lesner Bridge around 2:30pm.

Then… around 6:30pm, a car caught fire in the turn lane in the same place.
